ans1)    The three(3) stars symbolize the three(3) largest islands in the Philippines, which are the Luzon, Visayas & Mindanao.

ans2)    The sun symbolize the gigantic road to progress and civilization achieved by the people

ans3)    The eight rays on the sun represents the first eight provinces who revolted against the Spanish rule.

            In time of War - Ther flag should have its red strip on top

ans2)    The flag should not be used as a curtain.

ans3)    The flag should not be displayed in cockpits, dance hall and other areas that can affect the moral  image of the Flag.

ans4)    The flag should not be used as unveiling material in unveiling ceremonies

ans5)    Worn-out flags should not be used as a rag or at any cleaning purposes

ans6)    Faded or worn-out flags should be replaced immediately. Upon replacing the flag the faded or worn- out flag should   be burned.
